4. I went onto Google Earth last year. I looked for the Magnetic North Pole. It was a wonderful shade of blue. The problem is that the wonderful shade of blue was water not ice. The closest ice was in Greenland! Do you really think that it is no one's fault? True, the earth goes through cycles, but do you think that this relieves us humans from the responsibility of treating Gaia like she should be treated? After all, she is a part of us and we of her!

3. In the mid 1970's I was in High School. My environmental Studies class went to a place called Stelco Steel in Hamilton Ontario. My teacher was nicknamed "Mr. Statman" because he always had statistics to tell us. According to his research, one smoked the equivalent of 32 cigarettes a day while working in that place....without smoking one (with the doors wide open)...

They shot an elk. They hung it, as they have for many centuries. It fell apart as it hung, like jelly, melting onto the floor, disintegrating. It was so riddled with chemicals and radiation that it was not edible. The same with the fish. That was back then. Do you think it is better now?...

2. Around that time, I knew a fellow that moved from his home in the north, to central Alberta. He was native. He and his family used to hunt and fish in northern Alberta. They used to feed their family that way. Even back then there were problems....

Someone should tell her that over 99.9% of species that ever lived on Earth are now extinct. Modern humans had nothing to do with it. Sorry, no one is to blame. Someone should tell her the ozone hole she is speaking of is over Antarctica, and has never been proven to be a credible threat. Its size shifts but remains constant. And the UVB radiation that is supposedly causing so much turmoil is negligible, if not undetectable. Sunscreen is prudent in any case. Again, no one is to blame.

Do I know you well enough to call you fellow plunderers? There is not an industrial company on Earth, not an institution of any kind, not mine, not yours, not anyone's that is sustainable. (..)
