If you mean animation, then yes it was. In fact I think animation was best during the 30s throu 50s. Now it seemed like the majority of stuff is just ADHD sugar induced crap fort the kiddies. Unlike Walt Disney today's media tends to market cartoons to kids were as what Walt Disney knew well (and what made his cartoons so long lasting) is done right cartoons can be the simplest, purest form of entertainment for all ages.

These will just forever be classics. Sad a lot of kids today are missing out on these. Instead they are enthralled in Hannah Montana or whatever that it's called. They'll look back on their childhoods and shake their heads and go "Wow...I can't believe I actually liked this!" While we we watch these cartoons over again we smile and reminiscences. It's just as good as it was back then...maybe more so given the fact that quality family friendly entertainment is rarely worth two seconds of watchin
