I think that Lada is a very reliable car,maybe it's not the beautiful car in the world,but it's good,the Russian-made ones.

Agree with you. In ukraine many Ladas 2101, it's more then 30 yars old, but it's ranning. Sweet europe classic.

Nu kak vidish ;) I can agree with you, but engine wasn't totslly same like Fiat. I think it was, like it is written in manuals, improved and adapted to russian climate, particularities and conditions.

На сколько я знаю, первые модэли вообще снабжались итальнскими двигателями. Это ужэ потом в советские инженеры взялись за дело. Хороший двигатель 1600, тот что разработали для 2103 в 1982г.
