While I thought she was cute and ditzy (Lord knows I love me a floopy blonde), I kept thinking 'Carrie Underwood.' Didn't everybody? And since Kellie wasn't as 'great' as the winner of Season 4, I didn't feel she was any good as a contender for the title of Season 5. Her first performance in the Top 24 was just awful. I really thought she was headed home. But something about her slight country twang and bubbly-self kept her around. Every season has a contestant who gets by on less-then-stellar vocals. It's either the 'Outfits' (Ryan Starr), the 'Hair' (Sanjaya), the 'Region' (Jasmine Trias), the 'Beat Boxing' (Blake Lewis), the 'Shouting' (Taylor Hicks), the 'Sex Appeal' (Chris Richardson), The Sassy-ness (Mikalah Gordon), and you know the rest. And sometimes, I prefer them to those who can only offer a good vocal. Kellie's had very few 'amazing' performances. This is one of them.

It was good, Reba is still rocks this song like no other, and nobody can take that away from her, but not comparing Kellie's performance to Reba's, it was good.
