Roy Rogers Restaurant Commercial from 1985

One of my favorite FF restaurants I grew up with in Fairfax,VA and proud to be a member of their "Buckaroo Club" still wondering what I did whit that card... God Bless

I always have memories of eating at Roy Rogers strictly on road trips, usually moving from one state to another. For some odd reason, the only place I saw those restaurants was at traveler stops. They have good fried chicken!

Exactly the same here! They had three on the Mass pike prior to 2000, and my family and I would always stop at one in particular where we would sit outside on a picnic table and eat sandwiches my mom packed during trips to my grandparent's hosue in NY. Some of the best memories of my life are from those trips.

what happen to them

They were sold off to Hardees in 1990, and most were converted to Hardees or closed down. But they've since been sold to another company that plans to start the company back up again. 51 restaurants, in 10 states, are operating under the Roy Rogers Restaurants name.

in 1982 Roy Rogers had a commercial called "Scratch for Scratch" ...it was some kind of scratch-off card game - but the commercial was showing people trying to scratch their backs - it started with a kid with red hair going side to side on the screen - then went to an african amer. woman who was trying to scratch her back... do you have this commercial?
