Hey Steve, speaking of compensation, I wonder if Bill ever has any intentions to compensate John Kemeny and Thomas Kurtz for BASIC... you know, that code he stole... err borrowed then slightly reworked and hey presto, MS-BASIC ! When I see this, I know EXACTLY why Microsoft needs to lose money and come back to earth. The company is now like the Evil Empire from Star Wars. In their heads, they feel justified and do this for the good of the community. But in doing so, they are indeed becoming evil and have no idea how people in general have very little money. It's insane to think that Microsoft can get a fine of 1.3 Billions from the EU and still have plenty of money to continue their disgusting quest for power.
