In general I'd agree with you, but when you're able to find a ref who understands the value of newaza (which seems to be pretty frequent up here in Canada) it's a great experience.

I said that you're "allowed" to have style Vs. Style. And you also said that "not since the first UFCs has it been style vs style." WELL, YOU ARE WRONG. Bisping Vs. Mcarthy was Muay Thai Vs. BJJ. And Cote Vs Almeida was Kickboxing Vs. BJJ. That IS style Vs. Style.
