My condolences to you and your family. It is such a tragic disease. I can hardly sleep at night knowing that thousands are dying in the US right now who could be treated.

Why are we arguing about embrionic stem cell research when we have thousands of people being sent home to dire with diseases that are treatable with non-controversial umbilical cord blood stem cells. We need to wake people up.

Actually the President is only vetoing embrionic stem cells, not umbilical cord blood stem cells like the ones that saved me. Insurance companies who don't want to pay for the treatments are trying to bury the miracle of cord blood.

I cannot understand why the president doesn't give this marvelous new medical advancement technology the chance to save many lives? It is sad people have to go to China to get stem cell treatment.
