Yeah since both GI Joe, Transformers, and some other 80s cartoons were drawn by a really good Japanese studio.

Toei Animation. But some episodes for both series were also done by South Korea's AKOM studio as well.

we used to build our own cardboard bases for our joe figures. go to the backyard with the snowcat, havok, and awestriker and pretend the joes were in some prehistoric jungle. ahh, the good old days.
