the biggest cat to walk the earth ever was the caspian tiger i thiink it was like a foot larger than the siberian tiger. tiger would win coz lions CANT fight alone tigers aere more endangered as people like there fur more, no-one gives a pawnage about lions XD WOO TIGERS !

excuse me sovros but actually the tiger hunts bigger game, like water buffulo. Also the tiger can bring down the water buffulo alone where as a whole pride of lions is needed to take down the smaller cape buffulo. Also the tiger is well adapted too! and how would the lions be more intelligent because they hunt together? It just shows there social! and it doesnt show that there more adaptable, just like i said, it shows that there social!

Also, the biggest cats ever to walk the earth were the African lion (Panthera leo atrox) and Cave lion (Panthera leo spaelea).Their average weight was 30% more than the moderns African lions. that's about 350 kg.

I'm sick and tired of this conflict. I don't care anymore which wins, lion or tiger. The lions are much well adapted, they live in prides, they hunt in groups and by that they have more success than tigers. Lions hunt bigger game. Tigers are classified as seriously endangered, lions, vulnerable. The lions are much likely to survive more as a species than tigers. Also, if they are able to hunt in packs an cooperate, that makes them more intelligent and more adaptable.
