Lamborghini Murcielago vs. Ford GT

Yeah Jeremy Clarckson bought a GT.But he sold it to buy a gallardo spider.

The thing is that I really respect american cars.With ancient tecnology they do pretty damn fast cars.I always have been a corvette admirer too(I love the C2) and I know a ZR1 is faster than a 911 GT2 or a GTR on the ring.I like the GT too as I said on the previous post.But you have to understand that comparing an American sportscar to an European it´s like comparing an indycar to a F1.Sure an indicar it´s more powerful but it only would use it in a straight and lose on any other place

chantry 1969:It wasnt a lp640 stupid.Lp 640 has a different front nose a big squared exhaust and woult eat a ford gt with chips(learn about cars).The ford GT is one of the only real supercars built in america,pretty fast,good handling,light and beautiful(the other one is the saleen.I would prefer a Murcielago any day,a V12 sounds better(for my taste)and imagine it with a compressor or a pair of turbos(search murcielago twin turbo).A lot of more "beast" lookin too.

Actually, the GT was about 150K. Heffner's can twin turbo it for a bit less than 40K. In end end, you get a 190,000 dollar car which puts down 11.1 second quarters on regular tires and gets to 180mph in 17.8 seconds. In comparison, the Murcielago does the quarter in 12.6 and 150 mph in 21.4 seconds. Let me repeat. The Ford GT goes to a buck eighty in 17.8 seconds while the Murcielago goes to a buck fifty in 21.4. If this wasn't enough, even critical Jeremy Clarkson bought a Ford GT.

and imo anything else above the zr1 on the ring is a bullshit car except the mclaren f1 to an extent, everything else cant be used everyday or is tuned strictly for the track

its great when ancient technology(corvette zr1) beats 90 percent of all cars tested around the ring, so what does that say about european vehicles
