When you first get the phone you're supposed to completely burn the battery then let it charge for 12 hours, completely burn it again, charge for another 12 hours, then burn it one more time. After that it will hold charges for much longer. My friend just bought one and he had to do it. They informed him of this when he purchased his phone at the store. Hope this helps.
i had a really bad problem with this before, but when i turned off bluetooth during the day it helped a lot. and if you play less music during the day it also helps.
They sell extended batteries. Just ask your service provider about it. I am guessing Verizon but I can't really tell.
