I have never disliked Man U as much as I did in 95/96. The evening they stole that game at St James's Park, I felt as if it was my team it was happening to. Later that season, they stole a point at Loftus Road when that thug Cantona got a 98th minute equaliser. Even a Man U fan I know admits it was a bit dodgy. Anyway, as for you Geordies, it was that Man U game and the Liverpool 4-3 that did for you.

A great player and a great man, but remember we QPR fans called him Sir Les first.

Sir Les was simply awesome, KK produced a master-stroke after selling Andy Cole. Words fail me when I think about that jock twat selling him to Spurs - he must have still been on the scouser payroll? Thanks for the memories Les, the geordie nation have never loved a cockney more!
