At 1:54 I don't think the problem with D2 was that he was not skating backwards. The problem is that he is way too far from his man. D1 should have taken a dive to block the shot when it was obvious that the ball carrier was about to shoot.

Great job, I wish you could do this for my team. I think on clip 2 the D made the right decision to check the man in the slot and leave the puck carrier to the goalie.

You may want to pay someone to film your game and focus on you. You may view the film in slow motion later to see how you play. I think I'll do that.
