Well, that depends on the perhaps violent nature of those who think differently.
I am dismayed by the comment that the number of fingers and toes we have as human beings is not cosmically significant. Would it be safe to assume, given this comment, that WE are not cosmically significant? Getting hit by a bus is more apt to happen to most of us but remember buses run routes to and fro every single day. The end of the world would only happen once. Statistically, you are a genius. Sadly though, your compassion for humanity hasn't gone beyond a flawed arithmetic.
The Mayan calindrical system was more accurate than our own(guess he forgot to mention that).

digital3michael- he mentioned the 'elaborate system of calendars'. They could have had 1,000 calendars, that doesn't mean they were able to see into the future and predict the end of the Universe.
He's mistaken, there are two other "calendars" you ad unto the long count back into history.
