My other man was a bicoastal dude from Jerz who lived in LA for a few (KRAZY K), he broke it down in the studio when I asked him in '90 "How you scratch so fast?" He said "Remember our beats {bpm} are faster. JJ Fad, World Class, Ice-T even Mix-A-Lot...you gotta scratch fast or you sound wack!" Simple explanation

My boy from Queens 1st hipped me to Aladdin waaayyyy back then and I been a fan ever since, never saw no shit like that B4...he was the 1st dj I ever saw w/o HEADPHONES...somehow we had it on VHS soon after it happened, maybe my dude was there with the camcorder. I always give the WEST props for the speed cuttin and jugglin even tho NY dudes was doin it too. MixMaster Ice, Latin Rascals, Jazzy Jay, Teddy Ted

have any idea where someone might be able to get one of those oldschool Latin Rascal radio shows ?!? if you do let me know.
i've heard Steve D say that he taught Alladin how to dj !! 2 greats
I wouldnt doubt it.
steve d was from NY - alladin was from compton. i doubt steve d was making cross country trips to teach alladin
Aladdin bypassed entering the west coast battle and made a 'cross country trip' to entering the eastcoast dmc,so.... besides I HEARD Steve D say from his own mouth on the radio back then that he taught Alladin, why would he lie about something like that ? Also I have a video of Dj Clark Kent (from NY) saying that Aladdin,Scratch and Richie Rich are his real nephews. I know Steve D from battling myself (dj Mysterio) I'll ask him about it next time I see him .
Steve D the creator of Beat juggling....trust.
I used to practice djing with him and dj Train (RIP) back in Compton. I'm from Long Beach but I used to catch the bus to go to Trains' house to practice...
he'd beat most "turntablists" around these days with that.
