What guitar is he using there? Awesome playing and tone, anyone who thinks thats crap needs to get off the drugs and stop listening to Linkin Park and Good Charlotte!

This is a Fender custom shop Robben Ford guitar. There is also a cheaper model, the Squier Esprit. Robben left Fender mark, now he uses Taku Sakashta Noupaul model.

I remember when Robbin played at the Powerstation in Auckland New Zealand back in the 90s .Yeah, hate to say it but it was a boring concert .He was dressed up all flash and everything, but he didn't seem to have any inspiration ,just going though the motions .Technically it was ok though.He must have been tired from touring or just having an off night.

I actually agree with the DrugsMurder guy, but only in very basic principle. Robben sounds totally uninspired and completely boring in this particular video, but most of his fans have seen him play enough to know that he does often have good ideas. It's difficult to create a gem each time you sit down to write.

Just look at this guy's money sex drugs and murder, what piece of crap person, Robben Ford is probably one of the best blues guitarists of this generation, u do not know the definition of feel and soul!

How is the tone too heavy? It's blues - I'd rather a heavy tone than a weak thin limp noodle sound. Besides, if there was too much distortion the high notes on the chording would wash out in noise. I think it's a nice balance.
