idk... maybe its just be but it just looks like a niice little box on wheels to me and the stereo types of only loosers driving these type of cars kinda make me stay away from them no offence i my self own a car thats 2 years older than me im 16 btw

Man, does that make me miss my 1980 Le Car! The only car I've ever driven that more fun or more reliable is my '94 Nissan truck. I miss that old pile o' froggy scrap metal!

In light of the New Beetle, Mini, PT Cruiser, etc., I am surprised Nissan/Renault has not come out with a retro Le Car. Something French by design, but with Nissan running gear.

Holy crap! That was quite the jump!

I had two of these, a 1977 "real US version" of Le Car (different from that in the video) and a 1981 4 doors, Canadian version bought new in Montreal. I sold the first one after 70 000 miles with tears in my eyes. I still drive the second one today with 223 000 km on it. Original engine, clutch and struts... I had to fight rust just above the back wheels. A wonderfull automobile way ahead of its time then.
