this was about 4 months before the seeds of the horsemen. first incication flair liking tully & the andersons was on tv dated sept 14 1985 when flair poked fun at magnum ta for wearing a hat with his name on it & tully & the andersons were champions & didn't need name tags.

somewhere on youtube there may be the promo dated june 1 1985 where ric asked jj did he buy his clothes from porter wagoner & bet jj 25,000 dollars that landell couldn't beat him. it was a funny promo too, i think it was from the mid atlantic show.

ric did fight blanchard from june 1984 to oct 1984. he teamed with dusty to go aganist blanchard & wahoo in sept 1984 until he was forced to go aganist rhodes on oct 13 1984 because of the million dollar match of starcade 84. he was wrestling blanchard when dusty tried to help flair, he & blanchard teamed up in the now famous dusty leg break. that was tv dated oct 12 1985 & the seeds of the 4 horsemen.
