the zr1 did the ring in 7:26.4 the gtr did the ring in 7:26.7 wikipedia is your friend. there was an older run with a diffrent driver who got a 7:29, thats what you might be thinking of.

you say 118k for a zr1 is why they don't sell...well first of all im not sure where you got 118k from unless thats what they are fully loaded..but anyway the zr1 is only 103k which is just over 100k so it's almost not even in the 6 digits...also you say import cars are better and at the same time your saying the zr1 is overpriced?? well i would love to hear you name a car with better performance or the same performance for the same or a lower price from any import car producer

This and the Mazdaspeed 3 are the best bang for buck as far as hp and straight line acceleration in MY OPINION. But look at it, its so boring looking!

Since GM went into bankruptcy all the union contracts have to be rewritten. When the economy was up the contracts were ok, but the economy went down it they weren't so good. As for your cavalier, it was made in mexico it should have a 3 as the very first digit of its VIN. But i know for a fact other cavaliers were made in the U.S.

It would be better if they were made outside of north american because the auto union here have destroyed the north american auto industry with their unrealistic demands. Why can't there some common sense used here. The non-unions are to one extreme and the union the other extreme. Meet in the middle and get rid of the bullshit.

well i bought a brand new chevrolet cavalier in 1997 and it said on the frame "Made In Mexico" so what does that mean?

wow your a dumbass. i shouldn't even say anything else, but chevy's are made all around the world. the ones for sale in the u.s. are made in the u.s. (all models except aveo's), canada (trucks and suv's), mexico (trucks and suv's) and korea (the aveo).

with the cobalt, what u gain in performance.....you lose in quality

@0spaceboy Um the ZR1 is a super car. and if your gonna say its over 100k look and the GTR spec V it is too and everyone always says its super car funny thing is the ZR1 has faster lap times and faster 0-60 and faster top speed. Werid how that happens. American car still in the Market the next 5 years will be all American cars just watch.

The cobalt is praised for being the best FWD car in it's league at that time.
