Thanks for the information! Natalie Maines is such a delightful,lovely voice, especially Triode-style: Country. In my blind love of (i)the voices of Emmylou and Patty, and (ii)their incredible song gifts suitable for sharing, I forgot to notice how much I love to listen to Natalie and Patty sing to Mary together. Do you have any advice on which Dixie Chicks record to start with? I most certainly will check out Rissi Palmer. Actually, I'll do that now. Feedback welcome and appreciated.

class of80extant - If you are a fan of Emmylou and Patty, check out the Dixie Chicks 3rd CD "Home". It's more acoustic and bluegrass with 2 Patty songs and Emmylou singing background vocals on Godspeed. However, all of them are amazing - "Wide Open Spaces", "Fly" and "Taking the Long Way" - all completely different and great in their own way.
