This is a hit and miss engine as used on the farm for many chores that needed to be done before the convenience of having electricity to run motors. It could run a washing machine, cream separator, butter churn, shell corn, grind corn for feed, pump water and many other chores.
I just finished this restoration project, having cleaned, replaced and adjusted all of its moving parts. The cart and battery box is fabricated to look like the original from wood and metal castings. This engine is fired by a low voltage make and break igniter and it is running cleanly on Coleman Camp Fuel.

Always have loved the sound of a hit and miss running!
Lol Souns Like A Whip
The funny thing is it probably qualifies as low emissions engine these days. If I remember correctly it only fires wen the RPM's drop to a certain point and then it picks up again.
