It seems people think snakes are not friendly and you should look but not touch. This video is intended to counter that myth.
Meet Samus and Honeybear. The best part of having well-socialized snakes is being able to interact with them directly, such as hand-feeding them. Note that all corn snakes are individuals... not all are this tame and comfortable with humans.
Standard advice is not to handle them for two days after feeding. These snakes have had lots of play time and are completely at ease with being handled. If you are not able to read your snake's body language then it's better not to mess with them until you learn, so don't try this at home.
Once you do know how to read them, it's very rewarding because you can do stuff like this. It doesn't harm the snake (some of them quite enjoy it) and you get to be up close with them.
