I say run it, regardless of terrorist threats. They win when Dakar cancelled. Dont empower them, run it anyways. I want to compete in the Dakar, and Im sure Many others have DAKAR Dreams as well. Lets not allow the world to be controlled by a few radicals. Id hate to see the tradition of Dakar die. Moving it will still not be the Dakar. Its tradition is what draws us. Let the riders ride, ignore threats. Id just as soon risk a terrorist attack there as I would anywhere in the world.
