no its not the money...trinity is a division 3 school they cannot give athletic scholarships

That is exactly right. They do however offer financial assistance to those in need. Most of the athletes are deemed "in need" and so they get financial assistance. They are financially assisted, the term "athletic scholarship" is not used but its basically the same thing.

They can also be "selected" for "leadership scholarships" and be the first viewed for any academic scholarships.

Awesome! Why aren't Canadian universities like this?!!!
