yup, you're right; it is the way We make ourselves known. Did an invokation of this, few years back at a Catholic Cathedral here in Austin... had em all on their knees begging... the thunder, you could almost see it. The vids are a good viral way of getting the thought out; spoon full of sugar makes the medicine go down... funny the Devil Wears Prada came out after... honored and scorned one.

It was artfully executed. I have no issue with taken Thunder Perfect Mind from it's original context to promote a fragrance. I mean, of all the possible ways to sell perfume, this one is the closest to sublime. Who would have thought of coupling fashion with Coptic verse? The first time I saw the film -even without the exact source- I felt the power of the words. My intuition told me it had its originated in the cult of Isis...I was close. And Daria's part made even more captivating.

prada is one of the most artfully driven labels on the planet. prada is doing nothign but paying homage to this author whoever it may be. theres no product placement in this video. its just a film.

all the same, it's artiness and especially the music sold it to me. it's a sophisticated advert aimed at those who are or, in my case, would like to think that one day they could be equally suave and elegant.
we can all dream!
