You say "they're just running around trying to throw the ball into the goal" Well, in basketball you do the exact same thing, the only difference is that in handball there is a keeper who can stop the ball, in basketball you can't do anything after the ball has been thrown towards the target. Regarding rugby, I don't think any fan of that sport would like to compare it to American football...

Can't believe your ignorance here. First of all I don't get the point of you criticizing all sports you can come up with. There are tons of sports (and hobbies I'd never spent time doing by the way) I'd never watch but I still understand that we are all different with different interests. Have you ever asked yourself why football/soccer is by far the most popular sport in the world?
