Co-pilot was Squadron Leader Martin Withers, and AEO Squadron Leader Barry Masefield. Marshalls Aerospace Test Pilot Iain Young was an additional forth crew member. The unmistakable RR Olympus 'howl' - fantastic! Due to a technical snag with the starboard undercarriage door, XH558 flew several times, at low level, over the airfield for the benefit of observation from the ground. Unfortunately, as a result, XH558 had to return directly to Bruntingthorpe, unable to carrying out her full test schedule. Avro Vulcan XH558 is a national heritage asset - she belongs to everyone in the UK. Please help to keep YOUR aeroplane flying for years to come!

Absolutely brilliant SM. Sat her elike a Cheshire cat. Great to watch the wave from a different angle too. Captured sound and detail beautifully, well done.
