I own a Subaru and will never drive anything else... but they really needed to have an Mitsubishi Evolution in this video.
The electronics are second to none.
I work for subaru, i can vouch for em by saying THERE IS NO AWD SYSTEM IN THE WORLD THAT COMPARES TO SUBARU... NOTHING...
No discussion. Subaru today has the world's best AWD system for stock type cars.
Where are you digging up your facts? No Subaru in North America is without a Boxer or AWD, and the only ones elsewhere are either microcars or rebadged from other brands. A non-turbo Legacy or Impreza will get the same mileage as a 4-cyl Accord, Camry, SX4 or Cobalt. The boxer engine is not a hindrance to fuel efficiency--that's why Subaru went through the effort to develop a highly efficient boxer diesel. They're already working on hybrids and a CVT transmission.
I laugh at Acura's all new SH-AWD, just the same as the rest of the gang.
What about the 2006 Outback 3.0 R VDC? Is the AWD system the same as the 2007 Legacy 2.5 GT limited?
Yes, the H6 is IDENTICAL to the 4 cylinder layouts, just with 2 more cylinders, and 1/2 more liter displacement... Subarus front and center Diffs are in the transmission, because of this, almost any motor and trans combination made by subaru can work. The h6 can bolt to a 2.2 4speed, and a 2.5rs can bolt to an STI 6 speed. Doesnt matter, same car, same parts.
So the AWD system in the 2006 3.0R is the same as in a Legacy GT?
