Quake 2 N64's gun models where more true to the PC version. As well as the enemy models. The sound and such as well were all from the PC version. I have the PSX,N64 and PC version. As far as weapons and such go for me, the N64 version looks and feels more true to the PC. The PSX version's weapon models got a rehaul, and the textures look kinda grainy IMO. The models on it are not the same as the pc as they are in the N64.

I didn't mind this port at all. It was a good distraction while I played it (recently), but overall, other than a good 4-player gaming session, it's pretty average. So... fun, but average.

i like this game. . .it's still a good port. it has good control, but it does have some slowdown to it. however, it's still fun to play.

It is a pain in the ass trying to aim on Quake 2 for N64.

Yeah some controls on console ports are just plain bad.

Because, besides a level or two, the N64 version has completely new levels.
