they only made about 10 M3 GTR's that they sold on 2 continents to be able to compete in the events they competed in. a rule change ment tht they had to build more cars to bring the total number of cars to at least 100 and the number of engines to 1000. BMW did not think it was a good decision to spend so much money to compete in Lemans especially since they were probably already developing the new M3 that just came out. just like the old M3 GTR it has a V8 that revs at over 8000 RPM

So your saying that theres about 8 of those brand new GTR's sitting at BMW's headquarters collecting dust right about now? Thats a shame,cuse I know a few sports and races were they would have actually been put to good use. You ever wonder if the public could buy one of those legendary cars? Thanks for the info;D

they don't renovate it because it would cost a shitload, and nobodys complaining

lol, dont they try to race at infeneon now lmao, i swear i saw them going around the stock car course a couple days ago, oh well dont matter, those big, clunky, "race cars", are not exactly the best for trying to go around infeneon, since the 800 horses or whaever they have make them wanna be drag cars.

Lol, I was thinking the same thing, Those NASCAR idiots can naver compete with the likes of F1 and WRC. Unfortunately most of those southerners think that when it comes to motorsports its all about horse power,horse power, and did I forget to say horse power? Lol!

Say that to Juan Pablo Montoya and see what he says. NASCAR and F1 is like comparing apples and oranges...yes there both fruit but still wildly different. I am a southerner and yes i like NASCAR but i also like F1, DTM, BTCC, V8 SC, Japn GT, and other Eurasia motorsports. Again not EVERY southern is a redneck...its like calling every Chinese person a kung fu arist or every Britsh person drinks tea, loves soccer (or football) and has drive by conversations (family guy joke sry :p).
