Datsun 240Z Burnout

By the way. You're 327 sounds great. Not downing your car. Just debating engines. I have a stroked and bored 351w that I am thinking about. But I want to keep it Nissan/Datsun. So, VG30DETT, or RB26DETT it is for me.

Yeah, more power through more displacement. But the L24-L28 was never, and is still not what I would call a "bad" engine. It's strong, and can run forever. I have seen 400hp with natural aspiration out of stroker kits. Is it the best when it comes to power? No. But, then again, the 327 isn't either. But, I wouldn't call it a bad engine either. A healthy RB26DETT with stock internals, including valves and heads running around 600hp would blow that 327 away. Especially is AWD was in tact. IMHO.

lol yea but with the money you spent on that you can put in the 327 and then blow that away. You will always be able to get more HP from more displacement. Sure you can build that RB26DETT to be faster than a ordinary or modified 327 but if time comes you can always work a little more at the 327 and get it faster.
