It was quite awkward being on the mailing list for MoveOn. These people just did not understand the concept of free speech! Everyday I'd get some stupid-ass email about how "this Congressman said something sexist" or "this guy said something racist and homophobic" and they'd say "tell CBS or ABC" or whoever to "apologize" or retract their statements or something. It was insane! I couldn't take their bs anymore so I unsubscribed.

Prove it. Number one prove that the war is a fraud. The war in Iraq serves 2 purposes, 1 created a Battle field that drew all the terrorist groups attentions. 2 served to show others who would house fund and support terrorism that they could be next. How bout this instead of sitting there listening to your liberal media news shows how bout you look at the conservative ones two.

And Petraeus is risking his own life, and his own son is also fighting over there - so your comment that he "did betray us" is dishonest, completely lacking in reason, and quite frankly, evil.

What were the "lies"? That Saddam was a sponsor of terrorism? Proven fact. That Saddam's regime was a brutal dictatorship? Proven fact. That Saddam was a threat with weapons of mass destruction? Also a proven fact by the reports that he had active programs and planned on reconstituting them (but no found stockpiles as indicated). That makes him no less dangerous. Even so, that doesn't mean the war is going well, or that it was worth going in to begin with - those are separate arguments.
