What sound? I couldn't hear a thing after it went past, it caused temporary deafness! ;) It was an amazing aircraft, fantastic to watch.

There was only one C17 in the 2005 airshow, a USAF. In the 2007 airshow, there was 2 C17's, a RAAF on static display, and a USAF doing flight displays. Unfortunately I never got to see the C17 fly in the 2007 airshow, even though I went on two days!

That C-17 was from my base(McChord). During the 2007 Avalon show did you happen to catch the tail of the C-17 flying because one of ours was doing airshow training all month(March).

And a warm thankyou to our American buddies for supplying many of the military aircraft! (including this one!!) The 2007 Avalon Airshow starts March 10th (I think) and we have one of our own now I believe - but we will still most likely get an F14 and an F16!
