i loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooov birds
i adopted an injured cherryhead and let him go with his flock last weekend after he healed. these birds are amazing. :]
I should go see this with my gf, I live in Marin County, which you go into from S.F. The dudes' a little bizarro, but whatever.
good book. Awesome movie. Teary eyed? Oh yea! makes me want to move there and spend my days caring for the parrots.
if they are wild. how could they land on him?
It`s about trust and friendship.
I got the DVD and it's great, it has updates and other segments on it, including a visit with Mingus Mark.
The sad ending of the movie is not what you will be left with, when you see the extras.
There is an update on the Flock and Mark, and they are doing well.
Did you really think that mark could stay away from the flock?
Get the DVD, it's worth it, just to see the updates on Mark and the Flock.
I have a few birds, and they just treat me like part of the flock.
i agree. i got this movie on netflix and absolutely loved it. i've always liked birds, ever since i was little and we had a pet canary. i've always found their behavior comical and intriguing at the same time.
this is such a wonderful film, it deserves twenty times the number of awards it's already received.
I saw this movie on PBS channel 13 here in NYC about 5 months back. Made me cry. Great film which I will purchase on DVD. Is it on DVD?
I kind of cried at the end of this film when one of the birds was about to die and the guy thought the bird was sick, when the bird snuggled up beside the heater, the next day it died. It kind of reminded me of the night before my bird was severly sick and then when I opened the towel up on my little bird's cage next morning, he was dieing, and died in my arms and I knew that his spirit was released from pain and was in a happier place. This was a great film and shame on the ordinance board!
