this is how I've seen some salesmen handle their follow up, if at all. Sales reps have "customer satisfaction index" rating between them and the customer. It determines if they qualify for bonuses from the manufacturer. Some stores purposely fudge the information of customers to the manufacturer so they don't call them and give them a survey, because they know they wouldn't have anything good to say about them. realistically though, it takes hours to sell a car, not easy to keep them happy.
