Why do you assume he is speaking for the US? He is speaking for Afghanistan - that is his country and his pride in it was obvious as he spoke. He had criticism for the West too, but he was calling for support for his country from all - that's perfectly reasonable. Afghanistan and Pakistan are no more brothers than England and France are brothers. Pakistan is hardly a shining example to the world, so you cannot expect him to heap praise on it just because Pakistan shares the same religion.

Karzai knows about the facts and reality, the past, present challenges and future stability of this region. He is not doing an excellent job, but he is doing a good job. If you, people who know only of the past, or of present about our region from you TV screens and news stalls, then please please save your useless comments because this is a complex matter of South Central Asia and what this man does is for the good of Afghanistan and this region, eventualy safety in streets of USA & Europe.

He isn't blaming Pakistan. He is responding to a question specifically on the relationship with Pakistan, but the clip does not show the question.

yes i know that. but i get frustrated when Afghan speak behalf of US rulers then there brother Pakistan. but in the response they aspect that Pakistan always work 4 them.

I compeletly agree with Hamid Karzai. International community should as soon as possible look and eleminate the militants in Pakistan because Pakistan is the main source for Terrorism.
