Wow you idiot. I don't know that many "poor people" who can afford a $550/month car payment... Poor people drive 1970 Datsun hatchbacks or... get this... NOTHING. Pull your head out you ignorant SOB.

Hey I like you that you're not overly aggressive when you want to make a point, so I'll give you respect for that, but I can't agree with you that American cars are more dependable then European ones. ill give u an example. I have a BMW X5 with 150,000 km on it, (around 95,000 miles) and not a single problem, ever, except for regualr inspections. My friend recently got a new Malibu and the check engine light came on like within 2 months..Just saying you need to think longterm too...

I own an Mercedes ML430, i was considering an X5. I think European cars, particular Mercedes and BMW are fabolous. But in the long run, sure they can last a long time but consider the conditions of northern Canada. rough roads, etc. Parts and labour are expensive for BMW/Merc, whereas GM it isn't. Look at the Buick Enclave, it's much superior to the GL, X5 and Escalade. American vehicles are kicking up their game

I see you watch Top Gear? :P
Land Rover is owned by Ford you twit. Lol haven't called someone a twit ever before. Good to have a wide vocabulary :P
I got mine two days ago and it drives great, it feels like a sporty sedan, plus the interiors are pretty cool.
I was never a huge fan of American vehicles either.. until I grew a pair. Now, I can say they're great vehicles (some of them) and Europeans make small cars, I don't like small cars. Doesn't get rid of the environment fast enough.
