I love the 2CV. Sure, its, not good, to put it lightly, but its just a cute little car. We had something in the soviet Russia called a ZAZ965, a russian "2CV". Not a good car, but your heart lightens up when you see it. Ive been lucky enough to see a 2CV driving past my house a few times, which in Lithuania is very odd to see (a 2CV). But more than anything I want to race these. Its fun enough in a simulation
The shittest car ever made.
Histoire sans paroles ! LOL ! voiture de misère....
looooooll
greatest little mover ever.......forget that mini and beetle junk
Loved my cosy 2CV, until the chassis rusted away ;-(
Nevertheless, cheap to run, astonishingly comfortable, capable for transports (just open the roof to put in a double matress e.g.), near-cabrio feeling, relaxed, very fast on downhill serpentines ;-)
I miss you, R.I.P.
gas mileage?could it do 55mph?did they really have 7hp?I saw one today at the Better living expo and we mini van and truck and SUV folks all just fell in love with the one parked here ogling it.Small,cozy.(sleep in it?)what a perfect little car!I WANT ONE!!
?
Well, I'm from Chile and I have a 2CV6 Club made in France (Double carburetor). There were many models and engines, and the 2cv6 was the last. So this model has a 602cc engine and 33 HP, not 7. And It has a max speed of 130KM/h (80mph), and usually it's not hard to achieve 100Km/h (60mph)... Even today it's a VERY practical car. It's so simple that if you take care about the rust of the frame (the only weak point), all will be fine. (the engine it's inmortal XD)
I worked @ one of very few car garages that know how to maintence 2CVs, they r gd cars if looked after (like any classic) but the British win with the Mini Cooper
