The UK Smoking Ban - The triumph of a Nazi idea

Smokers are SCUM. Toxic tobacco smoke kills 65,000 INNOCENT Americans every year. Ban smoking everywhere and BAN the tobacco drug, too! Then, execute the tobacco pushers.

you Nazi. you see an intelligent pro smoking argument and you respond with a hate fuelled pathetic argument with no real reason what so ever. you're the problem with modern society. you have to force your beliefs onto other people dictate how they live and take away their choices. you actually make me physically sick. I'm British so how many Americans die isen't really relevant to me but if these 'innocents' are anything like you then I'm slightly proud.

Well I guess as the Tobacco pushers are the Government as they make the most money I am with you on that BUT what about alchol, ban that to?, then what? what other lifestyle choices will you give up? your car?

I'm stopping smoking as i'm public enemy No1, i'm going to become abu qatada and kill everyone in the uk, i will get a £200.000 house and £1000 a month and don't dare look at me I have human rights.

All it boils down to is cost. Who does it really benefit in the long run?

I'm convinced that all these "nanny state" rules and restriction are just proofs of incremental totalitarianism by every conceivable pretence socialist goverment can imagine, health,enviroment and safety issues, are used to see how tightly the screws can be tightened before the people revolt. If all previous human behavior was so unhealthy, how did we ever so populate the earth ? What's next ? How can we say, enough !

as a non and never smoker, the only thing that peeves me off is that i can no longer sit outside in a pub garden anymore - it's full of smokers!!! Smokers tend to haunt pubs, and in my view the Labour AKA - the Nazi party has killed off the pub industry. - how about just leaving it alone, and have a lounge for the non-smokers, and a tap room for the smokers? - TOOOO SIMPLE HUH????

Check out the crime stats, Domestic Violence, Rape, Sexual abuse, GBH, Anti-Social behaviour Smokers 0 Alchol Consumers 1 Alchol is the REAL danger to society NOT smoking. For me the real Irony was a guy was due to be executed by Electric Chair and asked as a last request if he could smoke a Cigar as he had not had one for years. It was pointed out that it was a NO SMOKING area! I am sure the poor SOB smoked himself when they pulled the switch though

wooooot last request.... now watever he did he obv deserved his sentence, buuut, since he's paying the ultimate price, surely watever the request is (within reason) should be honoured. You see i kind of think that about uk train station and the irony.... you cant smoke on the platforms anymore yet, your forced to breath in the exhaust fumes of idling locomotives....!
