nirrr i want one

that thing sounds gross. the rogue is superior for sure

about 10000000000 times better. I've had both, the Voyager is by far better. Of course you pay quite a bit for those improvements. If you want make noise and simple melodies get an MG-1. If you want an excellent performance synth get the Voyager.

"Fundamentally identical to the Moog Rogue..." VERY FUNNY!!!
|
thats actually true if you open them both up and look at the board. however, the mg-1 is much more similiar to the moog liberator, the keytar from moog. check them out side by side.
|
I have to put mine in the shop thinking about getting a better moog though.
|
Get a microKORG instead.

I have one of these. A guy threw it in for free when I bought his bass amp. He thought it was a piece of junk. I win! I win! I've had to resolder some things and once in a while the tuning goes completely haywire on mine. (A good smack on the side helps ;-)

Those MG-1's are built like tanks. (Except for that spongy goo inside) Although I'm technically on my second one. (I had to gut the first one for parts after a cat peed on it...GRRRR) I've had mine for 13 years and after being around for 25 years, the oscillators are STILL IN TUNE with each other. I have an ARP ODYSSEY which still sits in my garage due to it's out of tuneage. Mine's not midi'd though :(

wonder how much that would cost??
