So true, those kids who were mesmerized by those sounds and lights of fireworks in jashns grow up to experience those bangs and fires falling on them nights after nights, May God give our people and our land a period of peace and a quiet life.

I can just imagine what those fireworks meant for the people and kids in the dark nights of kabul, It must have been beautiful and the joy it gave to the people must have been immensely. A fabulous record of the good old days of kabul and peace in Afghanistan.

Its hard to imagine that the only loud bangs that were heard one time in Afghanistan were during Jashn. No one knew what was ahead. Indeed those were memorable times.
