exactly! RR has been successful with pocketpassers before READ: Shaun King at Tulane, Brandon Streeter at Clemson, and Adam Bednarik at West Virginia. Now its Steven Threets turn to be a successful pocketpasser under RR at michigan Also, although we don't NEED a running QB, we have one anyways in Justin Feagin. As Miley Cyrus would say, we get the best of both worlds when it comes to Threet and Feagin (and later on, Threet and Kevin Newsome)

See what people do not relize is, this is still Michigan, we have some of the top athletes in the country, just because we may not start a running quarterback doesnt mean its a failure of a season.

And oh yeah, may I remind you all that Michigan DOES have a running quarterback for 2008. His name is Justin Feagin. Look it up. So with Feagin, we can run RR's WVU-like spread option offense, and with Threet, we can use the Capital One Bowl offense. I like that idea....especially considering the athletes we ahve at TB, WR, and TE

i don't understand how people think that steven threet doesn't fit the system. he was recently clocked in at 4.3 in the 40 yard dash.

Hold on. Threet is a pocketpasser. he doesn't run a 4.3. No way. But, thats no knock against Threet. Pocktpasseers have had phenomenel success in RR's spread offense, so this idea from Buckeyes fans and whatnot that threet isn't "RR's quarterback" is total bullshit. If you want to criticize Threet, you can criticize his lack of experience. But criticizing the type of QB he is is bullshit
