Tranz Scenic decided that the last Northerner nightime express train would run on the evening of the 12th of November 2004. This video shows the departure of 202 from Wellington Railway station on Friday the 12th November and the arrival of 203 from Auckland on Saturday the 13th November, which was about 2 hours and 45 minutes late, due to the late arrival of daytime train into Auckland the night before. This brings to an end many years of overnight rail travel in New Zealand. |

Heres a slide show of photos I took while in Tassie in September 07.
I love my photography but I dont get to do too much of it. I took all these while on our honeymoon. I guess the stress of the wedding was gone so I was stress free which allowed me to take some of my best photos.
Some photos were just taken because of where we were but while we were in Strahan - which is on the west coast - we had a full day to just walk around. I took this chance to get snappy happy. I took near 200 hundred photos on that day which only about 10 or so made the cut.

My name is Abdi, I am Refugee from Somalia in Brazil.
I wanted to travel to Europe and asked for Passport and they gave ma a Passport for only 20 days valid (from 13 Feb 2007 until 04 March 2007).
With 20 days valid Passport there is no way that i can travel to Europe and Govornament of Brazilian knows about but that's what they do and they make me pay for Passport which i was not able to use at all.
Here in Braliz is United Nation and we have so called "Protection Officer" Mr.Wellington.
Mr. Wellington knows about my problem and other Refugees that they face in this country but he doesn't care about me and other Refugees.
Mr. Wellington stays in Brazilia and never comes to meet any Refugee.
Human Rights are dependet from govornament, when I went and told them about what they are doing to me with Passport they didn't care and didn't do anything about.
Is centry 21 and do you think that people should be free to travel??
