Here is my alternate version of the Star Trek Enterprise's Opening Theme. I used the audio from startrek.com featuring Scott Bakula's voiceover of the Star Trek monologue but actually the video isn't the one that is from startrek.com the last couple clips are different and I made the video from scrap. I think they were going to use the real one from startrek.com for Season 4 and probably would have for Season 5 if they never have cancelled the show. I do love Faith of the Heart and Archer's Theme. They are both awesome. I think mine probably is the best one than the other ones that I have seen on You Tube. I hope you all enjoy it. Give me comments about it and rank it.

Star Trek Enterprise clip with Scott Bakula reciting the legendary opening. But this is not the version of the sequence from the final episode, "These Are The Voyages" (which featured William Shatner and Patrick Stewart's voiceovers).
In this one, Bakula recites the whole thing. There are no titles with it, but my feelings would not have been hurt if this were the opening to the show. |

A lot of people complained about the Enterprise intro, because it didn't follow the classic Trek style. I completely disagree, because new things are what will keep trek fresh. I also think the Enterprise intro inspired more hope in me for the human race than any of the other intros did, because it was about the journey; the heart of Trek. I also thought the drum beat they added in the later seasons took away from its power.
Nevertheless, I still wanted to see what a version without lyrics would be like. I used the alternate recording of the song and synced it to the original intro. Because it is considerably shorter, I had to chop away about 15 seconds of footage, and redo the fades. I still think it holds up.
I also had to add new sound effects for the Enterprise at the end, cause the original effects had music over them. I sampled those from the video game Star Trek: Legacy.

It is widely known that the original Enterprise was destroyed over the 'Little Blue Alien' incident. Commander Ryker utilises the computer's time-control mechanism to travel back to the past and change the fate of the doomed crew.
