El Castillo o alcazaba de Sagunto es un inmenso sistema defensivo de más de un kilómetro de longitud que se ciñe al cerro que domina la ciudad de Sagunto.En la base de algunos tramos amurallados hay enormes sillares de época íbera y romana, el cartaginés Aníbal realizó el asedio a la ciudad ibérica en el año 219 a.C, poco antes de ser conquistada por Roma, parte del recinto es de época árabe, pues Sagunto se convirtió en plaza defensiva avanzada de Valencia frente a los cristianos del norte. Fue tomada primero por el Cid en 1098 pero tras su muerte fue reconquistada por los almohades. Fue Jaime I su definitivo tomador coincidiendo con la caída de la ciudad de Valencia. |

Please accept my blessings. I am in due receipt of your letter dated 6th August 1976 and your very nice donation. Your desire to please me is very pleasing and your preaching program in Spain sounds very nice. Please push on this movement in the Spanish and Portuguese languages with great enthusiasm and certainly Krsna will bless you for taking so much trouble to preach His glories. A Vaisnava always feels himself incapable to repay his debt to his spiritual master therefore he works very hard in order to try and repay that debt. He knows that without the mercy of the spiritual master one cannot preach this Krsna consciousness and therefore he always tries to act in such a way that he may please his guru. Please continue in this way and keep very strictly the regulative principles and chanting the prescribed number of rounds on the beads and you will clear the way for success in your preaching work.

I always wanted to see Spain and finally I had the chance. I wasn't disappointed..
Spain.. my impression that it left was relaxation.. I saw the Mediterranean coast.. arrived at Malaga took a bus to Marbella and then a short taxi ride to Puerto Banus to the Vasari Resort which was a very nice place to stay..
The beach front has many places with restaurants and they rent out umbrellas and sun beds so you can enjoy the beach
It was filled with nice scenery especially with the mountains or hills and then the beach side..
I saw a bull fight.. I didn't like it.. because I really felt sorry for the bulls..
The Flamenco Dancers that I saw in the restaurant which Im showing some clips in my next podcast..
