This is my snow corn snake. I have just put her back into her cage after feeding her and she heads right to her hide in the bush.
Most people don't know, but corn snakes need something to climb on as that is what the love to do. IF you have a corn, get them some drift wood or something to climb on. You'll have a healthier and happier snake. |

sin D is a snake with a name like a rapper - its a sort of joke. He's a rapper!
Tasha is his girl. Tasha is a younger girl snake,one day Sin D and Tasha will get married and have babay snakes.
They love each other, but we sperate them when feeding in case the accidentally eat each other.
We think Sin D as born November 2006 and Tasha some time earlier this year. Probably Feb? She is smaller and
younger. She's black and white. Sin D is coloured. The Snakes are Freddy's. Age 6 years. |

So, the two corn snakes I've had for about a year and a half now apparently a male and a female. Was working on a term paper when I glanced over and low and behold: this video.

It seems people think snakes are not friendly and you should look but not touch. This video is intended to counter that myth.
Meet Samus and Honeybear. The best part of having well-socialized snakes is being able to interact with them directly, such as hand-feeding them. Note that all corn snakes are individuals... not all are this tame and comfortable with humans.
Standard advice is not to handle them for two days after feeding. These snakes have had lots of play time and are completely at ease with being handled. If you are not able to read your snake's body language then it's better not to mess with them until you learn, so don't try this at home.
Once you do know how to read them, it's very rewarding because you can do stuff like this. It doesn't harm the snake (some of them quite enjoy it) and you get to be up close with them. |
