Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) said:
'Everything has a bride, and the bride of the Qur'an is Surrah Al Rahman'
The Holy Prophet has also said:
"Whoever reads it, Allah will have mercy on his weakness and be regarded as having thanked Allah for it"
Imam Jaffer al-Sadiq (a.s.) has said:
"Allah will brighten the face of everyone who recites it often on the day of Judgement"
Sura Rahman is often regarded as "THE BEAUTY OF THE QURAN"
This is the only Surah of the Quran in which besides men the jinn also, who are the other creation of the earth endowed with freedom of will and action, have been directly addressed, and both men and jinn have been made to realize the wonders of Allah's power, His countless blessings, their own helplessness and accountability before Him, and have been warned of the evil consequences of His disobedience and made aware of the best results of His obedience. Although at several other places in the Quran there are clear pointers to show that like the men the jinn too are a creation who have been endowed with freedom of will and action and are accountable, who have been granted the freedom of belief and unbelief, of obedience and disobedience, and among them too there are the believers and the unbelievers, the obedient and the rebellious, as among human beings, and among them too there exist such groups as have believed in the Prophets sent by God and in the Divine Books, this Surah clearly points out that the message of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and the Quran is meant both for men and for jinn and that his Prophethood is not restricted to human beings alone.
Although in the beginning of the Surah the address is directed only to human beings, for to them only belongs the vicegerency of the earth, among them only have the Messengers of Allah been raised, and in their tongues only have the Divine Books been revealed, yet from verse 13 onward both the men and the jinn have been addressed and one and the same invitation has been extended to both. |

The ayat are 59-79 from Surat Al-Naml, heres an English Translation of the meanings:
59. Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "Praise and thanks be to Allâh, and peace be on His slaves whom He has chosen (for His Message)! Is Allâh better, or (all) that you ascribe as partners (to Him)?" (Of course, Allâh is Better).
60. Is not He (better than your gods) Who created the heavens and the earth, and sends down for you water (rain) from the sky, whereby We cause to grow wonderful gardens full of beauty and delight? It is not in your ability to cause the growth of their trees. Is there any ilâh (god) with Allâh? Nay, but they are a people who ascribe equals (to Him)!
61. Is not He (better than your gods) Who has made the earth as a fixed abode, and has placed rivers in its midst, and has placed firm mountains therein, and has set a barrier between the two seas (of salt and sweet water)? Is there any ilâh (god) with Allâh? Nay, but most of them know not!
62. Is not He (better than your gods) Who responds to the distressed one, when he calls on Him, and Who removes the evil, and makes you inheritors of the earth, generations after generations? Is there any ilâh (god) with Allâh? Little is that you remember!
63. Is not He (better than your gods) Who guides you in the darkness of the land and the sea, and Who sends the winds as heralds of glad tidings, going before His Mercy (rain)? Is there any ilâh (god) with Allâh? High Exalted be Allâh above all that they associate as partners (to Him)!
64. Is not He (better than your so-called gods) Who originates creation, and shall thereafter repeat it, and Who provides for you from heaven and earth? Is there any ilâh (god) with Allâh? Say: "Bring forth your proofs, if you are truthful."
65. Say: "None in the heavens and the earth knows the Ghaib (Unseen) except Allâh, nor can they perceive when they shall be resurrected."
66. Nay, they have no knowledge of the Hereafter. Nay, they are in doubt about it. Nay, they are in complete blindness about it.
67. And those who disbelieve say: "When we have become dust - we and our fathers - shall we really be brought forth (again)?
68. "Indeed we were promised this - we and our forefathers before (us), verily, these are nothing but tales of ancients."
69. Say to them (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) "Travel in the land and see how has been the end of the Mujrimûn (criminals, those who denied Allâh's Messengers and disobeyed Allâh)."
70. And grieve you not over them, nor be straitened (in distress) because of what they plot.
71. And they (the disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh) say: "When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if you are truthful?"
72. Say: "Perhaps that which you wish to hasten on, may be close behind you.
73. "Verily, your Lord is full of Grace for mankind, yet most of them do not give thanks."
74. And verily, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they reveal.
75. And there is nothing hidden in the heaven and the earth but it is in a Clear Book (i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfûz).
76. Verily, this Qur'ân narrates to the Children of Israel most of that in which they differ.
77. And truly, it (this Qur'ân) is a guide and a mercy for the believers.
78. Verily, your Lord will decide between them (various sects) by His Judgement. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing.
79. So put your trust in Allâh; surely, you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) are on manifest truth.

SEBAB-SEBAB TERJADINYA PEMALSUAN HADIS
A. Kaum Zindiq
Berkata Hammad bin Zaid seorang Atba'ut Tabi'in besar wafat tahun 190 H.
"Kaum Zindiq telah memalsukan (hadis) atas (nama) Rasulullah Shallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam sebanyak empat belas ribu hadis".
Ketika Abdul Karim bin Abi "Awjaa', salah seorang zindiq ditangkap dan akan dipenggal kepalanya oleh Muhammad bin Sulaiman Al-Abbaasiy (seorang pemimpin Basrah pada zaman khilafah Al-Mahdi, pada tahun 160 lebih), maka tatkala Abdul Karim telah yakin akan dibunuh, ia berkata:
"Demi Allah? Sesungguhnya aku telah memalsukan pada kamu sebanyak empat ribu hadis (palsu), aku haramkan padanya yang halal dan aku telah halalkan (perkara) yang haram".
Demikian juga Muhammad bin Said Asy-Syamiy Al-Maslub (yang mati disalib kerana zindiqnya oleh Abu Ja'far Al-Manshur). Zindiq yang satu inipun telah memalsukan hadis sebanyak empat ribu hadis. Telah berkata Imam Nasa'i di akhir kitabnya " Adl-Dlua'afa' wal Matrukiin" (halaman 310):
"Para pendusta yang terkenal telah memalsukan hadis Rasulullah Shallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam, ada empat orang: Ibnu Abi Yahya di Madinah, Al-Waqidiy di Baghdad, Muqotil bin Sulaiman di Al-Khurasan dan Muhammad bin Said di Syam yang terkenal dengan (sebutan) Al-Mashlub (orang yang mati di salib)."
B. Satu Kaum yang memalsukan Hadis kerana mengikuti hawa nafsu.
Berkata Abdullah bin Yazid Al-Muqriy (seorang Atba'ut Tabi'in besar gurunya Imam Malik, wafat tahun 148 H), Sesungguhnya ada seorang laki-laki dari ahli bid'ah (yang dimaksud bid'ah aqidah) yang telah ruju' (kembali sadar) dari bid'ahnya, ia berkata:
"Perhatikanlah hadis itu dari siapa kamu mengambilnya ! Kerana sesunggunya kami dahulu apabila berpendapat dengan satu pendapat, maka kami jadikan ia (pendapat kami itu) sebagai satu hadis (yakni kami palsukan mejadi hadis)".
Berkata Abdullah bin Lahai'ah (wafat tahun 174H): "Aku telah mendengar seorang syeikh dari Khawarij yang telah taubat dan ruju', ia berkata:
"Sesungguhnya hadis-hadis ini adalah Agama, maka perhatikanlah dari siapa kamu mengambil Agama kamu.! Kerana sesungguhnya kami dahulu apabila condong kepada satu urusan (maksudnya faham yang setuju dengan bid'ahnya) niscaya kami jadikan ia sebagai satu hadis (kami palsukan menjadi hadis)".
Berkata Hammad bin Salamah (Atba'ut Tabi'in wafat 167 H):
"Telah mengkhabarkan kepadaku seorang syeikh dari Rafidhah (Syi'ah), sesungguhnya mereka berkumpul (sepakat) untuk memalsukan hadis-hadis"
C. Satu kaum yang memalsukan hadis-hadis untuk tujuan yang baik menurut persangkaan mereka.
Mereka buat hadis-hadis palsu tentang targhib dan tarhib dan nasihat-nasihat dan lain-lain. Mereka tidak merasa keberatan bahkan membolehkan dengan mengharap ganjaran dari Allah Jalla Jalaa Luhu .!? Kemudian mereka berkata. Kami tidak berdusta untuk merosak (nama atau Syari'at) Nabi Shallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam tetapi untuk kebaikan beliau Shallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam..!?
Hujjah mereka di atas menurut Ibnu Katsir menunjukkan sempurnanya kebodohan mereka, sedikitnnya akal mereka, banyaknya dosa dan kebohongan mereka, kerana Nabi Shallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam tidak perlu kepada orang lain untuk kesempurnaan syariat dan keutamaannya. Mereka itu kaum yang menyandarkan diri mereka kepada zuhud dan sufi.
D. Qash-shaas (Tukang-tukang cerita)
Mereka yang memalsukan hadis-hadis dalam cerita-cerita mereka, untuk mencari wang dan supaya orang-orang awam (umum) takjub (terkesima).
E. Satu kaum yang membolehkan memalsukan hadis untuk setiap perkataan yang baik.
F. Satu kaum yang memalsukan hadis untuk kepuasan hawa nafsu para penguasa dan mendekatkan diri kepada mereka.
G. Satu kaum yang memalsukan hadis pada waktu-waktu yang diperlukan. Seperti untuk menjawab pertanyaan-pertanyaan, membela faham/pendapat, mencela atau marah kepada seseorang dan lain sebagainya.

Sheikh Shuraim Very Emotional Glorious Quran reciation : 4th Ramadan 1424 H
Thinking about and trying to understand meanings of the Glorious Quran, which Allah has sent down for His slaves to clarify all things and as a Light that He gives to whom He wills among His slaves. Indeed, the Quran contains tremendous medicine for all ills of the heart, as Allah said, what translated means, "And We sent down from the Quran that which is a healing and a mercy to those who believe (in Islamic Monotheism)." [17:82]
The Quran contains Islamic Monotheism; Allah's promises, warnings and Commandments; stories of previous nations; and codes of the best conduct and behavior. These various subjects in the Quran have different effects on the heart. Some Surahs (chapters) of the Quran are more frightening than others. The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu `alayhi wa salam) said, what translated means, "Hud (chapter 11) and its sisters (chapters 56, 77, 78 and 81) have brought me white hairs before their due time." [As-Silsilah As-Sahihah]. Hud and its sisters brought white hairs to the Messenger of Allah because of what they contain of matters of Iman. These Surahs, and the rest of the Quran, showed their effect on the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu `alayhi wa salam) and his companions, exactly as they were ordered in the Quran, "So stand (ask Allah to make) you (Mohammad) firm and straight (on the religion of Islamic Monotheism) as you are commanded and those (your companions) who turn in repentance (unto Allah) with you." [11:112]
The companions would also be deeply moved with emotions when they recited the Quran. Abu Bakr (R.A), for example, who was a soft-hearted man, used to cry while reciting the Quran when leading Muslims in prayer. Once, Umar (R.A) became ill as a result of his reciting the Ayah, "Verily, the Torment of your Lord will surely come to pass. There is none that can avert it." [2:7-8]
On another occasion, Umar (R.A) wept when he was reciting the Ayah, "I (Prophet Jacob) only complain of my grief and sorrow to Allah." [12:86], and he was clearly heard by those who were standing behind him. Furthermore, Uthman ibn `Affan (R.A) said, "If our hearts were pure, they will never have enough from reciting Allah's Speech (the Quran)."
As for later generations, Ayyub said, "I heard Sa`d ibn Jubayr recite the Ayah, "And be afraid of a Day when you shall be brought back to Allah." [2:281], repeating it more than twenty times." This is the last Ayah that was revealed to the Messenger of Allah, and it ends with, "Then every person shall be paid what he earned, and they shall not be dealt with unjustly." [2:281].
