In his lofts are some of the best racing birds in the North of England. Assisted at his lofts by his friend Francis, Billy has developed a respected race team. Dale Newcombe is carrying on the strong tradition of top class pigeon fanciers that is synonymous with the Newcombe family name. Dale has had tremendous success racing his birds over middle to long distance in the very competitive Scottish National Flying Club. The race team regularly fly and win over 500 miles.
