Kentucky Fried Cruelty
please boycott KFC
KFC suppliers cram birds into huge waste-filled factories, breed and drug them to grow so large that they can't even walk, and often break their wings and legs. At slaughter, the birds' throats are slit and they are dropped into tanks of scalding-hot water—often while they are still conscious. It would be illegal for KFC to abuse dogs, cats, pigs, or cows in these ways.
KFC's own animal welfare advisors have asked the company to take steps to eliminate these abuses, but KFC refuses to do so. Many advisors have now resigned in frustration.
Please consider adopting a vegan lifestyle. You can make a big difference.
A vegan does not consume any animal product or bi-product.
A vegan also does not wear leather, wool, or any other material from an animal.
Also a vegan does not use any consumer product that were made from animal testing or any form of animal cruelty.

These pets and an unknown number of others were being offered a dignified and respectful last leg of their journeys here on earth by the human companions that were fortunate enough to have their lives blessed by their company.
The pain of losing these companions that were loved and respected is compounded by the cremains that were never returned, cremains that tested as entirely wrong species of the original pet and the doubt associated with cremains that were returned but never tested.

La llama (Lama glama) es un gran camélido originario de los Andes de América del Sur, particularmente de Bolivia y Perú.
El término llama se utiliza a veces más ampliamente, para indicar cualquiera de los cuatro animales sudamericanos cercanamente emparentados, pertenecientes a la familia Camelidae: la llama, la vicuña, la alpaca y el guanaco.
Se pueden distinguir características particulares entre las llamas y las alpacas como por ejemplo la altura, dado que las llamas son más grandes y tienen cabezas ovaladas en vez de redondas. La diferencia principal entre las llamas y los camellos es que los camellos tienen una joroba y las llamas no.
Se puede reconocer la existencia de dos variedades fenotípicas de llamas: la Q'ara, caracterizada por el poco desarrollo de fibra en su cuerpo, además de ausencia de fibra en la cara y piernas y el Ch'aku, es el menos común y tiene mayor cantidad de fibra en el cuerpo, la cual se extiende a la frente y sale de las orejas, pero nunca en las piernas.
La llama (Lama glama) es un animal doméstico.
Llama en Comunidad Mapuche Kuruwinka, San Martín de los Andes, Neuquén.
Son los camélidos sudamericanos más grandes. llegan a pesar 140 kilogramos y tienen una altura a la cruz de 1.30 metros. Las llamas no constituyen un grupo natural, ya que han sido "creadas" por los antiguos pobladores andinos, a partir del proceso de domesticación de guanacos hace aproximadamente 5.000 años. Su distribución geográfica ha sido muy variable en el tiempo según se extendían las culturas precolombinas andinas, relacionando el hábitat de las llamas con los límites del Imperio Inca, primero en territorio de Perú, y conforme iban conquistando Ecuador, sur de Colombia, Bolivia en este país se ve representado en el escudo de armas Tucumán en Argentina, iba ampliándose el territorio de la llama.
Actualmente existen muchos rebaños de llamas en Europa, Japón, Estados Unidos de Norteamérica y Nueva Zelanda. Existen además, distintas razas de llamas. El color y largo de su pelaje es variable, dependiendo de la raza a la que pertenecen. El diámetro de la fibra oscila entre 20 y 80 micrómetros, dependiendo si son productoras de fibras o de carga.

"Clicker training" is the popular term for the training or teaching method based on what we know about how living organisms learn.
Research has shown that any creature—whether a dog, cat, dolphin, parrot, fish, horse, llama, or person—is more likely to learn and repeat actions that result in consequences it desires and enjoys. So clicker trainers provide consequences desired by their animal in exchange for actions or behaviors desired by their trainers.
We call these consequences "rewards" and the process is called "reinforcement." Clicker training, therefore, is a positive-reinforcement-based system of training.
First widely used by dolphin trainers who needed a way to teach behavior without using physical force, operant conditioning (the scientific term for clicker training) can be and has been successfully employed with animals of all sizes and species, both domesticated and wild, young and old; all breeds of dogs and puppies, cats, birds, leopards, rats, rabbits, chinchillas, fish, and more.
Clicker trainers who learn the underlying principles have at their disposal a powerful set of tools that enable them to analyze behaviors, modify existing methods for individual animals, and create new methods where none previously existed. This flexibility allows the tools of clicker training to be re-invented in new forms that work in a range of situations, and for an infinite variety of animals.
The same principles have also been applied to training for athletes, dancers, skaters, and other people. Called "TAGteach," this form of training uses a click as a marker signal to teach precise physical motions quickly, accurately, and positively.

Humankind need to adopt a vegan lifestyle for ourselves, for the environment and for non human animals. 55 billion non human animals suffer and are killed each year for our taste buds. Meat & dairy are not necessary for health as millions of vegetarians and vegans will attest. Humans hunt, experiment and torture, kill for fur, imprison and abuse for "entertainment". It is not only wrong and unethical to exploit animals, we are harming ourselves in the process.
